Benjamin William Bova (natural November 8, 1932) is an American science fiction author and editor.

He became editor of Analog Science Fiction after John W. Campbell's death; after leaving Analog, he went on to edit Omni Magazine.

He was a science consultant for the failing television series The Starlost, leaving inside disgust fallowing a airing of the 1st episode; his novel A Starcrossed was loosely according to his lives & featured the thinly veiled characterization of his friend & colleague Harlan Ellison.
